Welcome to Mid Wales Dance Academy
We are a large, privately run dance school with over 200 pupils from the age of 3 years. We offer classes in ballet, tap, modern and street dance. We are affiliated to the Royal Academy of Dance, the Association of Russian Ballet and Theatre Arts and the International Dance Teachers Association.
The school is fortunate to have Theatr Brycheiniog in Brecon as its main base, where we have use of a large studio with sprung floor, mirrors and barres.
The school Principal, Lesley Walker, founded Ribbons Ballet School in 1995, and the school has expanded to become Mid Wales Dance Academy, offering a wide range of classes. All our teachers are fully qualified and DBS checked.
