Penny Hughes

Pianist

Penny gave up a very successful soloist career to play for her first love, Ballet. While in London she played for several ballet schools and was also an extra pianist with the Sadlers Wells Ballet Company, now Birmingham Royal.

In 1990 she moved to Wales and now plays for several RAD schools as well as several Cecchetti Schools. She is one of the associate pianists with the Royal Ballet School in Bath as well as the South Wales Cecchetti Association for which she writes the music for all the exercises for their annual awards. She also plays for three choirs and has a large teaching practice.
