Mid Wales Dance Academy

Our Summer School is an annual event which takes place for a week in August at Theatr Brycheiniog, during which expert ballet tuition is given by professional dancers.

 

In addition to a daily ballet class, the dancers work with the students to choreograph pieces of work which are shown on stage at the end of the week.

We also engage other professional dance teachers in order to introduce a variety of dance disciplines to the students throughout the week. Disciplines introduced in the past include flamenco, street/hip-hop, breakdance, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, and Indian.
